What are Fat Dissolving Injections?
Fat Dissolving Injections are a revolutionary, non-surgical treatment to permanently eliminate stubborn, localised fat pockets that resist diet and exercise.

The process is simple yet highly effective:

Following a comprehensive consultation to map the fat deposits, the treatment area is marked.
A local anaesthetic is often mixed with the Aqualyx® solution or applied to the skin to ensure comfort.
The solution is then injected directly into the fatty tissue using a fine needle or cannula.
The procedure is relatively quick, typically taking 30–60 minutes.

Swelling and tenderness are an expected and necessary part of the fat elimination process.
Immediate Swelling: Expect significant swelling, redness, and tenderness in the treated area, which typically peaks 24–72 hours after treatment. This is normal and indicates the treatment is working.
Bruising & Numbness: Bruising, firmness, and a temporary feeling of numbness are common and can last for several weeks.
Avoid: Strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot baths for 48 hours.
Do: Gently massage the area as advised by your practitioner. Staying hydrated and wearing compression garments (if recommended) can aid the healing process.

Fat dissolving injections require patience. A series of treatments is always necessary to achieve satisfactory results:
Sessions: Most areas require 2 to 4 sessions (the body may require more), spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
Timeline: Results are gradual. Initial visible changes begin approximately 3–4 weeks after the first session, with optimal results seen 1–2 months after the final session.
