DERMAL & LIP FILLERS

Plumper, softer skin by infusing deep hydration and smoothing away lines

What are Lip & Dermal Fillers?

DISCOVER OUR FILLER TREATMENTS

Dermal Fillers are sterile, injectable gels primarily composed of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) — a substance that naturally occurs in your skin and joints. HA's main function is to attract and hold water, which provides instant volume, hydration, and internal support to the skin structure.

Whether you desire subtle lip enhancement, defined cheekbones, or the softening of lines and folds, our treatments are tailored to ensure safe, natural-looking, and harmonious results.

How do they work to improve lips and skin?

When injected into specific areas of the face or lips, HA fillers work in two key ways:

Volume Restoration and Contouring

The gel instantly adds volume beneath the skin’s surface, replacing volume lost due to ageing or enhancing existing features (like lips and cheeks). The filler acts as a scaffold to lift and support facial tissues.

Deep Hydration and Elasticity

The HA within the filler attracts water molecules, providing long-lasting, deep hydration to the tissue. This improves the skin's turgor, elasticity, and overall radiance, smoothing out static lines and folds.

  • Immediate Results: See an improvement in volume and contour instantly after treatment.

Natural Appearance: Modern HA fillers integrate smoothly into the tissue for a soft, flexible, and natural look.

Hydration: Deeply hydrates the skin from the inside out, improving skin quality.

Reversible: HA fillers can be safely dissolved by an enzyme (Hyaluronidase) if needed.

Versatility: Can address a wide range of cosmetic concerns, from subtle hydration to significant volume replacement.

  • Dermal fillers are suitable for individuals seeking:

    • Lip Enhancement: Anyone wanting to increase lip volume, define the borders, or correct asymmetry.

    • Anti-Ageing: Clients with volume loss in the cheeks, temples, or mid-face, or those with static wrinkles, lines, and folds that persist even when the face is at rest.

    • Skin Quality Improvement: Individuals looking for intense hydration and smoothing of fine lines around the mouth (Perioral/Barcode lines).

    • Facial Balancing: Those seeking to harmonise facial features, such as defining the jawline or chin.

Treatment Details

  • A consultation will be conducted to discuss your goals and choose the appropriate filler product.

The area will be cleansed and a topical numbing cream applied.

The filler is injected using fine needles or a micro-cannula.

Fillers often contain Lidocaine (a local anaesthetic) for enhanced comfort during the procedure.

Treatment time is usually 30–60 minutes.

  • Downtime is minimal, though swelling and bruising are common, particularly with lip treatments.

Initial Swelling: Expect significant swelling in the lips for the first 24–72 hours.

Bruising: Minor bruising is common and can last up to 1 week.

Avoid: Strenuous exercise, saunas, and excessive heat for 24 hours.

Avoid: Alcohol and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours pre- and post-treatment to minimise bruising.

Do: Apply a cold compress gently for the first few hours and keep the area clean.

  • Results are visible immediately, though the true, settled outcome will be seen once all swelling has subsided (usually after 1–2 weeks).

Longevity: Results typically last between 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of filler used, the area treated (lips metabolise filler faster), and the individual’s metabolism.

Individual Variation: Please note that the rate at which your body naturally absorbs the Hyaluronic Acid filler can vary significantly due to factors such as metabolism, lifestyle, and the density of the product used. Maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain results.

Lip Enhancement & Hydration

We tailor our approach based on your aesthetic goals, using the most appropriate filler viscosity to achieve your desired outcome.

Soft, Natural Lips

Focuses on subtle volume, border definition, and deep hydration for a soft, pillowy feel. Uses softer, more flexible filler for a subtle, natural look; excellent for first-timers.

Fuller, Intense Lips

Creates significant volume, projection, and striking definition for a dramatic, impactful look. Uses firmer filler to hold structure and volume over time.

Fine Line Smoothing & Hydrating

This treatment focuses on delicate areas where volume loss and muscle movement cause persistent etching.

Hydrating / Chasing Lines

Targets static lines and folds around the mouth, smoothing and hydrating the skin to reduce their depth.

  • Barcode Lines, Smoker's Lines (above the upper lip)

  • Perioral Lines, Marionette Lines (lines running from the corners of the mouth down to the chin).

Uses a very fine, soft filler placed superficially to smooth the lines without adding unnecessary bulk.
